RECONSTRUCTION OF THE JOSEPH A. RUSSO MEMORIAL BRIDGE NO. 275

Project Overview

Project consisted of rehabilitation of an 870-foot, five- span, open spandral, concrete arch bridge. Project required selective demolition of the existing bridge deck, floorbeam, spandrals, columns and replacment with new precast elements. In all, 1,921 pieces of precast were set on the project. Additionally, a new cast-in-place deck and crash rail were constructed. The project received an award from the Precast/Prestress Concrete Institute for excellence in precast construction for this project
